The Forum Initiatives
The Forum is structured through a series of interconnected initiatives that define its programming
framework.
The Forum
The Architectural Installation initiative is an annual or biannual student design-build program developed in collaboration with the University of Waterloo School of Architecture. Open to architecture students, it brings public art and community engagement into the Gaslight District through the creation of site-specific installations exhibited in a public urban setting.

The Forum
2026 Summer Design Discovery introduces architecture as both an imaginative adventure and a foundational discipline. The program is thoughtfully structured to support different age groups—encouraging joyful exploration for younger students and cultivating fundamental design thinking for older participants.

The
A platform for public education and urban discourse, including

ongoing conversations around architecture, cities, and cultural
production.

The Forum
